I find it fascinating how each administration has its own bogey-men.

For the Clinton/Reno/Albright regime, the bad guys, domestically, were the "white supremacists" and other right wingers and, internationally, those who preferred nationalism to "democracy".

For the Bush regime, the international bad guys are the Muslims and, domestically, those who prefer liberty to "security".
