I'm watching him talk about how great the economy is, especially the housing sector. He said times are tough, could be better but we have to work through the "mirage of the new economy". (or illusion I can't recall the exact word). The govt needs to be careful how to characterize this stock market collapse, does this guy even know whats going on? Rubin seemed like he was on the ball, but not this guy. I would like to see Bush replace him. The republicans ignore the investor class at their own peril. If there is a startup company out there who has a great idea and good income to show for it- they have NO CHANCE, NONE of succeeding now due to the lock on the equity mkts.
