"Here's someone who appears to be completely unbalanced, yet he wants a big check."

For a second there I thought you were talking about Jesse Jackson.

CIA operation: if so dumb to shoot an FBI intelligence employee.

Mossad operation: given that they shot a waiter instead of the correct target and got caught bugging an embassy (both in Europe) I can't see that they suddenly would have gotten any smarter here.

Al Q'da operation: I could actually see that a Bin Laden convert would be as whacko as this guy. Since they've been planning crap since Bush Sr. was in office, they could have set this up.

Home Grown: If so likely to be someone with some intelligence/military/police training. Too lucky to have gotten away this long.

Chinese operation: too complex for their resources.

Ditto Russia.

NWO type operation: Nothing is beyond their grasp. People are pawns in their way of thinking.

Anti-Christ--likely a member of the NWO.

French sniper of Yugoslav extract: Revenge motive there. But the guy is awful crafty for an AWOL soldier from overseas.

A key here is demand for money. If homegrown, the money would have been demanded earlier in the first note. Or a bullet could have been placed into a vending machine outside of a closed Michaels' store in the middle of the night and a note left to be found later. To bring it up so late with blame for deaths on a tip line operator seems contrived to me. The money is pure misdirection IMO.

The average whacko could do this but not for so long. I think the guy had even noticed that these illegals often used that phone and set it up for the cops to nab them in order to observe first hand police method, or perhaps for amusement.

Give the public the handwriting, a pic of the tarot card (there are 26 different types of tarot card sets) and the voice of the suspect. The guy can't hide from everyone. The reason they don't...rogue CIA agent?
