Sure they are terrorists, today's act at the theater proves it beyond a shadow of a doubt. However, there are nationalistic impulses mixed in with religious ones that make things a bit more complex than those with little or no nationalism behind their terror, like most of the AQ bunch.

I wonder how this will impact Russia's vote on the UN resolutions. Probably not at all, but who knows.
