Some apropos comments from an Israeli blogger:

One thing I really can’t stand is when Israel sympathizers (Jews or Gentiles) who do not live in Israel call for radical acts/solutions. Every supporter of Israel is important that’s for sure, and each can hold his own thoughts left or right.

But when someone who lives his comfort life (in the US for example) who calls for transfer, calls the Labor party leaders murderers and claims the party to be anti Zionist - he is out of line.

Is he going to be the one to actually force people out of their homes? Will he find himself living in a divided incited society? Would he share responsibility for another political murder? What does he care? If Israel will follow the insanity way and crush out of history he’ll be sitting in nice home in a nice little suburb somewhere in the east coast. He will hold no accountability to Israel’s faith what so ever.

The same goes for Israel sympathizers that supports the loony left. Someone who calls for immediate withdrawal back to 1967 lines, evacuate all the settlements, surrender to any Arab claim no matter how bogus it is, calls Sharon a murderer, tell on Israel in every anti Israeli forum only to “drive" Israel to an insane way which he think is the right way.

Will he fill the aftermath of those stupid actions? We’ll he face a possible death strike on Israel? Will he be responsible for another political murder? Will he find himself living in a divided incited society? If Israel will follow the insanity way and crush out of history he’ll be sitting in his nice apartment in the bay area living the good life.

Someone wrote a stupid comment to one of my previous posts. He used harsh wards criticizing my post and supported a radical opposite opinion. He wrote that he is surprised to find this post in a supposed to be pro-Israeli blog. This is what he didn’t get: This is not a pro Israeli blog, It’s an ISRAELI BLOG. Okay. I'm not pro Israeli, I am ISRAELI with everything that goes with it, good and bad.

I lived here all my life and probably will spend the rest of them here. I love my country, I care for it therefore I live here. I will be the one to eat the crap those nutcase both in the left and right are trying to feed us from distance staying clean.

You don’t live in Israel but you want to support – that’s great and I thank you for that, but don’t try to push us into extremely dangerous situations while you don’t share the risks involved.

Moral relativism, as opposed to objective morality.

Different planets. No can communicate. Does not compute.

Awww CB, say it isn't so! Here I was hoping to communicate, to find out how all this has anything to do with my statements. See, I know what the moral code is of my society, of modern Western culture, of various other societies (Arab honor code etc.) in so far as my education and research allows. What I wanted to know is which is the "objective" one, so I can grab it like a security blanket and then look for the holes in the fabric - there's lots of fun in that one, I assure you. I assume the "objective morality" is the one you have, yep, must be, at least I hope so, wouldn't want you to suffer in silence with a nasty case of "subjective" morality.

I had all kinds of silly ideas of recognizing different cultures as having their points of view and their standards (which I assume is what you call "morality"), and I figure, color me crazy here, that in order to know best how to deal with them, the first step is to actually get acquainted with their cultures, standards and so forth. Based on that KNOWLEDGE I thought it would be easier to work out a sensible strategy. That's why I asked: what is the Israeli standard by which their society is judged BY THEM - so too for the Arabs. I didn't march in there TELLING Israelis that they must adopt the "objective" standards of Arabs. Oops! I simply asked.

Now, I realize you are communicating from a different planet. Fine, I'm game. Trouble is, seems your signal is weak. I think your batteries are running down. They are affecting your ability to reason, hence the piteous wail from outer space of "Does not compute" reaching me down here on pedestrian Earth. Not only that, your communication equipment seems further affected by some kind of virus - your English seems to have deteriorated badly... I hear the message "No can communicate"... my computers are crunching, seems it is some kind of pidgin English, a possible backward evolution... hold on, CB, hold on, help is on the way, I think you may have come down with an acute case of objectivitis moralitivitis, also known as the pompousous blowhardatus syndrom. I hear it can be hard to recover. I send you my sympathy plus two aspirin.
