No can communicate. Does not compute. Awww CB, say it isn't so! Here I was hoping to communicate, to find out how all this has anything to do with my statements. See, I know what the moral code is of my society, of modern Western culture, of various other societies (Arab honor code etc.) in so far as my education and research allows. What I wanted to know is which is the "objective" one, so I can grab it like a security blanket and then look for the holes in the fabric - there's lots of fun in that one, I assure you. I assume the "objective morality" is the one you have, yep, must be, at least I hope so, wouldn't want you to suffer in silence with a nasty case of "subjective" morality. I had all kinds of silly ideas of recognizing different cultures as having their points of view and their standards (which I assume is what you call "morality"), and I figure, color me crazy here, that in order to know best how to deal with them, the first step is to actually get acquainted with their cultures, standards and so forth. Based on that KNOWLEDGE I thought it would be easier to work out a sensible strategy. That's why I asked: what is the Israeli standard by which their society is judged BY THEM - so too for the Arabs. I didn't march in there TELLING Israelis that they must adopt the "objective" standards of Arabs. Oops! I simply asked. Now, I realize you are communicating from a different planet. Fine, I'm game. Trouble is, seems your signal is weak. I think your batteries are running down. They are affecting your ability to reason, hence the piteous wail from outer space of "Does not compute" reaching me down here on pedestrian Earth. Not only that, your communication equipment seems further affected by some kind of virus - your English seems to have deteriorated badly... I hear the message "No can communicate"... my computers are crunching, seems it is some kind of pidgin English, a possible backward evolution... hold on, CB, hold on, help is on the way, I think you may have come down with an acute case of objectivitis moralitivitis, also known as the pompousous blowhardatus syndrom. I hear it can be hard to recover. I send you my sympathy plus two aspirin.
