If it is a host file problem make sure your "c" drive is set to show hidden files and then do a search for host. There may be more than one so open them with wordpad and see if you find silicon investor and the other site listed. Put a "#" (without quotes) and a space at the start of the lines containing those names and then save the file. That should enable you to go to the sites and re-bookmark the proper urls.

Cruz, were there any other sites you could not access? I can get the addresses for you. Since 66.150.3.75 got you to SI I suggest you make a new bookmark.

What it tells you is that there is a problem with the name server [which looks up the name and replaces it with the number]
