First, you said:

And the condoning isn't as bad if it just means looking the other way which is what we did.

Now, you say:

Looking the other way is not as bad as providing the murder weapon.

This is, of course, true. It is also completely different from what you said (and what I objected to). "Condoning" and "providing the murder weapon" are two completely different things.

This all started when you said -

"Our good buddy Rumsfeld, one of the pack hired into government originally by Nixon, was a big fan of giving Iraq weapons of mass destruction in the 1980's, specifically the poison gas used on Iran as well as the Kurds. "

to which I replied

"Nice fantasy. Iraq made its own poison gas it was not given to Iraq by Rumsfeld or by the US federal government."

you replied -

"Let's assume you're right. How different is it, tho' if one condones such use of mustard gas laced with nerve agents"

So first you said that we did provide the murder weapon. When I challenged you on it you said "how different is it if one condones such use. I then said it is very different. You then agree with me so I don't see what issue you have with my series of posts.

As for "And the condoning isn't as bad if it just means looking the other way which is what we did." The reason I said that is because condoning isn't just looking the other way. Condone also means to forgive, excuse or explain. "condoning isn't as bad" meant condoning is not as bad as "giving Iraq weapons of mass destruction in the 1980's, specifically the poison gas used on Iran as well as the Kurds. "
