You answered it yourself. Reagan was a politician. Schwarzenegger has indicated an interest in entering the political arena, and appears to be making deposits towards that even as we speak. The Republicans would really have liked for him to run for governor, but he apparently was not ready. Penn, Harrelson, Streisand have no political experience, nor have they indicated any interest in serving in public office. Nor am I aware that the Democratic party has expressed the least bit of interest in any of them running for any office. I guess we're going to have to agree to disagree on their relative merits as political talking heads.
