Company also announces it no longer expects Y03 EPS of $1.00-1.25, but still expects a profit "assuming that our revenues do not deteriorate further". 18:36 ET Eastman Chem (EMN) 35.96 -1.96: Reports Q3 (Sep) earnings of $0.30 per share, $0.07 worse than the Multex consensus of $0.37; revenues rose 0.1% year/year to $1.37 bln vs the $1.39 bln consensus. For Q4, company sees profits down compared to Q3, indicating EPS less than $0.30 vs. Multex consensus of $0.40.
