2000 definitely would be one. first, it was the first year of bear, second, the prez election really messed up things. if not for the prez election mess, i think it would not be as bad.

btw, the seasonality doesn't mean it is going straight up and up and up. but probably means up days more than down day and up moves bigger than down moves, so net net, the market goes up instead of goes down when the period is tallied.

basically it seems the dominant mood would be positive instead of negative.

i think that fits into susie's "big picture" theme.

fundamentals we all know stocks aint cheap. but since when this market truly pays attn to fundamentals ? it is always influenced by the mood "fear to lose" alternate by the mood "fear to miss".
