Uhm, you are the one more in tune with the point I was trying to make. (In the case of US not the exotic thing.)See, I have some Euro, some US offshore and some Siemens shares, some property in Brazil.

I could keep buying property in Brazil now that the R$ (Brazilian Real) devaluated by more than 40% this year alone, just to discover that the R$ would be devaluated even more.

All that said, deflation is not affecting the US as it has affecting elsewhere. Hence people holding USD.
