I agree with you, actually.

But heck, I'm only human -- I couldn't resist, when I saw CH's Adlai Stevenson post and remembered his attack on Poet after 9/11.

And then X joined in, as usual in defense of her harmless little CH, adding a reference to 3D threats, in which she has engaged in reaction to virtually nothing because when she's annoyed by a cybercontact or three, wow is it major.

Otherwise, except when one of the "needling" exercises X has reserved the right to engage in comes to my attention, I don't pick on them.

Actually, I've ignored most of those.

I must work today. I must i must i must.

:-)

Are you relieved they've appeared to capture the snipers? I'll bet everyone down there is breathing easier today.

"However, I had to admit that his coyness and obstinacy had made matters worse, and therefore I did not feel like complaining about people being sick of him too much. All I asked was the right not to ostracize him myself, without being "beaten upon". Mostly, I have managed to get my wish.
As for X, she offended a lot of people in her time, and apparently managed to get into things more recently. Not having observed the exchanges leading up to more recent breaks, I am not prepared to take sides
"

Very diplomatic. There are times when not taking sides is not necessarily a sign of indifference or shallow character.
