Verrry interesting. So an FSS ship still officially listed as on reduced operating status has left it's homeport in New Orleans and is now in San Diego loading military logistical support/engineering gear with a destination of "the middle east."

Probably just for "routine military exercises" like building bridges in Saudi Arabia. Saudi needs LOTS of those. ;o} Ooooooh yeah!

Hint for Bilow - Bellatrix is MSC Fast Seaalift (Surge) based in New Orleans, officially listed as "reduced operating status" aka "mothballed."

Can you say "OPSEC"?? (although mighty poor).. :0)

Don't believe the official websites.. They are not going to report the status of vital transport ships...

But there is nothing they can do about the public press (except ask not to report it).
