I think the move will be violent in either direction, helping to jack premi... I don't sell options, the risk is way to high for my liking...

Dan Duchart (sp?) talked about this strategy here a while back: Sell NDX or QQQ straddles and hedge the trade with NQs to try and keep as much of the premium as possible. I wouldn't sell a straddle here, though. Does feel like the middle of the range we will be in over the next month or two, which suggests buying a straddle, not selling, IMHO.
