Perhaps in the short term. Being a "partner" of Microsoft hasn't been a healthy thing to do in the past. I can't recall the name of the company (a friend of mine knows the CEO, which is how I heard the story), but one of the companies that testified for MSFT during their trial just recently got nuked by them. The little company had some sort of service that was used by the MSFT web site, and then without warning MSFT rolled out their own version and cancelled the relationship. The CEO of the little company now feels like a complete idiot for trusting MSFT. I'm sure that there are any number of company names that you can use to fill in that blank...

This announcement reminded me of an earlier non-agression pact that ended badly for all concerned.
