Likely To Cut About 150 Jobs Boston -- Boston-based Keane Inc., a major technology consulting services firm, said on Wednesday that it will reduce its workforce in response to a difficult market environment. Brian Keane, CEO of Keane, told Dow Jones that he expected to reduce the company's workforce of 7,700 by "a couple percentage points." Kean said that there would be no large-scale layoffs at the Nasdaq-listed firm. MatrixOne also reported on Wednesday that its revenue for the most recent quarter was $31.1 million, compared to $24.8 million in the same quarter last year. The company also said that it has formed two new business units -- facial recognition and secure identification. Viisage said that it plans to "significantly augment" its sales operations to support the two newly created business units.
