The fact is that most countries have no problem with Islamic terrorists because most countries don't stick their nose into Middle Eastern politics. Most countries haven't "surrendered", they simply are not involved.

You mean, countries like Indonesia?

As far as your call for secularism, it's the religious Christian nut cases in the US that has combined with the religious Jewish nut cases in Israel to influence the US to get involved fighting the religious Moslem nut cases. What I'm calling for is a secular divestment from the religious wars these idiots are promulgating.

Yup, this is the recipe for more dead Americans around the world: mix together one part oil, one part religion, one part politics and simmer over an open flame in the Mideast.

So, you think we should kill all the Moslems?

No.. But we should kill all the militant muslims...

Anyone advocating the killing of civilians, non-combatants, or using civilian means to conduct military strikes.

How's that?

But that is why we don't want to get into a terror war with them. They'll win.

Oh... gosh... I wonder how that argument would have gone over on December 7th 1941??

After all, Japan was a different society with a VASTLY different moral code.. But we won that one, now didn't we?? (and they were more of a military match for the US than are the militant muslim states).

Bottom line.. militant Islam has not grown weaker in the past 20 years. It has only grown stronger. And there's no reason to believe that it won't continue to do so as the demographic and economic trends turn in its favor.

In my perspective, we're only putting off the inevitable. Thus, it's important to act now and nip it in the bud by providing a different economic and cultural perspective to the Middle East.

The history of the region is that the Palestinians have kept fighting despite many decades of Israeli demonstration of strength

And what has it gotten them? A society of people who believe that bundling their children up with explosives is a "righteous" honor.. A society of political pawns manipulated by Iran, Iraq, Syria, and Saudi Arabia....

They have the right to fight.. But they also have the right to suffer the consequences of their violence, especially with regard to Israelis once resuming military incursions into PA controlled territory.

You sell our values short. Our values spread without anyone needing to fight for it. Our values are the natural values preferred by everyone.

Actually I don't. All I have to do is observe how many foreigner are desperate to enter the United States every day, and the almost utter lack of anyone trying to leave (except Alec Baldwin, Pierre Salinger, and hopefully Barbara Streisand.. :0)

What I'm calling for is a secular divestment from the religious wars these idiots are promulgating.

You have no disagreement from me on this.. And that's why I'm concerned about how much attention is being given to creating a racist Palestinian state.

According to Palestinians, there could never be a "palestinian jew".. They would also be Israeli interlopers...

Doesn't it bother you that the state of Palestine would be so intolerant towards anyone desiring to live under their government??
