The differences are that it is much easier to sell stocks. And from the current location a capital gain seems more likely in near term than in the housing market and earnings can rise more than rental earnings on houses in the near term too....

Dow now seems to in an expanding triangle since Monday. Especially if it bounces here from a bit below 8300 which is bottom of C. Situation for the NAS is different
