It would, indeed, be wonderful.

Why don't you invite everybody here to a virtual Babette's Feast and see who comes?

Consider this my personal RSVP acceptance.

That is a very kind post, Neo. Very kind. And coming from you, I think each and every one of us would feel some kind of healing if we sat down and broke bread in this way.

That is one of my son's favorite movies. I rented it, and to my horror, instead of subtitles, it was dubbed. So I still haven't seen Babette's Feast, really.

That's a lovely idea, but I think you're a romantic.

Though if it were a short dinner....!

I nominate Poet as chef.

I have to tell you all, even though you aren't real people, that today I got in the mail some gingersnaps from Poet that were unbelievable. I mean, I wouldn't even call them gingersnaps. N doesn't even like gingersnaps, and he was kind of mesmerized by the taste and texture.

I had sent her a tape of a show she'd missed. In exchange, I got absolutely the best damn cookies I've ever heard of and a bottle of champagne.

Anybody want any shows taped?!

Oh, also included was a photograph of Poet and Bill's house. It's the most lovely, charming, old fashioned white-painted house. And it's big -- it looks like it has actual (said in a hushed voice) *closets* in it. Lots of them.

And plenty of room for a Feast!
