KLP ~ more than half of the Black Belt of Alabama is owned by people who don't live in the state, and many not in this country. A lot of the whole state is. And there are "camps" here of all kinds. From the McVeigh kind, to the Al-Queda kind. To all kinds. Hey, we're poor. People buy land and do what they do. It is scary. I had a camp just over the hill from me, but thankfully people got together and got rid of them. And, yes, the owner was a rich man who lived elsewhere. The camps don't have to liscened or even called camps. They buy rural land with woods and hills and hollers and privacy and do what they do there. It is all over. And it is scary.
