The US didn't get into a terror war with Japan. It got into a real war. No one is (publicly) advocating that the US get into a real war with the Arab world.

War is war, especially when terrorists are being harbored and funded by other states.

I hope to avoid war with the muslim world. But it's not the US flying civilian airliners into Mecca, or Medina.

Yes it does bother me. But I'm not advocating supporting the Palestinians.

Well then, just who, pray tell, are you advocating supporting??

Um. That depends on whether you consider this august forum public or not, and maybe on some considered parsing of the local "war is peace" "logic". There's certainly plenty of cheerleading for that option around here, anyway.
