"why do I waste my time..."

Does that kind of thing help you win arguments?

"Suite101.com management doesn't care about brinker one way of the other either. I am a volunteer there with no financial connection to the company. They sold it to a private group awhile back."

OK, then substitute the phrase "person or persons responsible for policing the thread" for the word "management."

"You seemed to delight in posting on the censored Justajerk thread where David Korn was banned and posts critical of Brinker were deleted. I guess your moral compus only works when it suits you."

There is nothing immoral about posting on a Justa's thread. There is nothing immoral about posting on your thread either. My point is that the Suite 101 Brinker thread is not a place to find objective analysis of Bob Brinker's work, especially since the "transformation" that David spoke of.

I have said before, and I will say it again: I will post anywhere that I find civil discussion. Your Brinker thread has too many habitual button-pushers and too much emotional rhetoric. I'm sure you had your reasons for each person you banned, but the fact is that your board is now almost entirely devoid of dissent from the "Brinker is always wrong" mantra.

"Yes, I was right and I am darn proud of it. I said then and I say today that the problem with market timing is not that a specific call might be right, but that even if you are right, you usually blow it on the other end. Brinker PROVED me right with his QQQ call."

Fine, but the fact is that there are aspects of that statement which I disagree with, and there other criticisms of Brinker that you wrote which I disagree with, so it is NOT true to say that I agree with your "we were right all along" statement.

"And you moan about others misrepresenting your words? "

I have misrepresented nothing. You wrote that EVERYTHING after the 60/40 call was a total disaster:

"Only difference is I don't feel a need to lie about others after it happens."

What lie do you claim has been told?

Kirk,

>>>I have a good buddy who is now broke as he would not stop using margin despite my warnings for years how dangerous it is. He made and lost over 2 Million twice now<<<

It sounds like your friend took some training from the Bernie Ebbers school of "Creative market financing". Or maybe he took the Brinker short course on "Using risk to guide market timing" which was cancelled due to lack of instructors who knew the material.

There are two times to use margin...
1) when you can afford to loose everything you stake
2) when you know you will be 100% correct
