Jacob,> Assuming we are still in a Bear Market, that pattern should continue.<

That is the $64K question? As DW states no one knows when the market goes into a bull market. Following the action of the Fed on interest rates and liquidity in time we will turn around. IMO, the closer we get to computer obsolescence and forced replacement and expansion of other technology with capital expenditures the better off we will be.

I would like to hear some discussion on this and the AMAT site regarding the obsolescence issues between those who are electrical and computer engineeers who have such knowledge.

A recent investor friend of my attended a local hospital meeting during which the speaker indicated that with the decade that scanning the body like in Star Trac is going to be a reality. The scanners would be hand held scanners which can be passed over the body, and would detect disease, the body chemical makeup and recommend the correct medication diagnosis in addition to transmit the information over the internet to a centralized mainframe. The information would be stored on the mainframe for all patients and could be retreaved to any physician where ever the the patient is at.

He also indicated that body parts would be grown for translant since supposely it is easier to transplant a heart than to have a heart transplant. The only issues with such was the privacy, ethical and moral issues associated with each. The speaker was saying that biogenic, pharmacy and technology were the places to be.

As a physician, I thought you would be interested in giving us you outlook.

Thanks.

Paul
