no, all you need is register and that's it the basic charting program has a number of tools... fibonacci... trendlines, regression channels There is an expanded set of tools (Andrew's pitchfork Gann angles and so on that it is extra...) but the basic package is very useful... they also have market scanners for hot groups, rallies, pre-market etc... they offer the first 30 days free and thereafter is 59/mo if you are a eSignal subscriber... I just started the free period for the scanner today (after market) so I have not had the chance to try it I like eSignal.
