There is a very fine line between annoy and harass

Depends on whether you're talking dictionary or law.

At law, there's a tremendous difference. Harassment is specifically defined. It must have certain elements to cross the line from annoyance to harassment. Those elements simply didn't exist on my exchanges with Poet. So legally, there was no harassment, whether or not there was annoyance.

If you were using the terms only in a social, not a legal, sense, then we have to get down to which definitions you're using. But legally, no.
