"Any group of people who would call a state bar over something that happened to an alias on a chat site, are people to be paranoid of, imo."

Now I'm intrigued. Which state?

No, it happened to me. I'm a human being. It happened to Poet. She's a human being.

You are changing the subject again. When you do that, you appear peculiar and desperate.

My husband called to find out if such vile behavior on a chat board like this one was a violation of ethics.

CH's name was not mentioned.

CH threatened to sue.

You threatened to sue.

Why did you threaten to sue me? (Or word your threat so as to make us assume that's what you were suggesting, which is the same deal.)

Only you and CH have threatened to sue anyone for anything that happened in cyberspace.

You threatened to sue because you got three unwelcome emails from someone you had emailed with before.

CH threatened to sue if his vile calumnies and months of harassment were brought to the attention of the ethics board of the WBA.

Only one person caused a fellow poster to become ill and have to have medical treatment.

And something in you loves what he does to women. Loves it. At least it appears that way, X.

"I have become paranoid"

Hopefully, you will get over that. It is not healthy. It is (according to the experts) a component of megalomania and self absorption. I think you are being overly critical of yourself. Surely you are not paranoid. Don't think that. It doesn't fit.

"Any group of people who would call a state bar over something that happened to an alias on a chat site, are people to be paranoid of, imo."

I don't know anything about the details of your fears; but perhaps it would be helpful for you to look at the confusion you seem to have about people when they use alternate names. The alternate name is only a name; it is not a person. A name is only a descriptor. Letters of the alphabet do not interact with people and they do not exercise their rights as human beings because letters are not human. What is there to agree with or disagree with in talking to a wall or a letter or a carpet or a shoe? Not much...
