A very good point... and the victims in OJ weren't nearly as sympathetic to most people (unfortunate as that is, as they were just as much human and entitled to live as anyone else): a good looking blonde married to a black guy, and a waiter. Sad commentary on our times, that it matters whether the victims were "sympathetic", but that's a reality.

It will be tough to play the race card in this trial.

Politicians and media pundits were already calling for the death penalty when it was assumed the killer was 25-40 year old white guy. Race shouldn't make a difference.
