EJ, I ventured out this week and modified my plan. Have not bought stocks in years in my primary account as you know. However, this week I added more VZ to what I consider our "family" account. Also added several thousand shares of MO. One of the largest positions I've taken in awhile without legging in. Plan to write cc's on both VZ and MO while I get that high yield that I mentioned on here recently.

Our family account already had a large VZ position. I've owned that stock for 36 years, yes, 36 years. Or, rather, owned one of the companies VZ bought a few years ago before the big merger.

Started buying it when I was a teenager and later when I worked in engineering for them. Suffice it to say, though, that in the family account, buying some every month, taking the dividends and reinvesting them for 36 years, well, all I can do is smile looking at it now. Now, I'm dusting it off and going to do more with it.

I've tried to teach our sons about LTBH using it as an example of what can be done, plus having patience in this market.

I'm going to wait until next week, then look at Nov cc's on both positions.

We just got in. Started to call you when we were out dining to give you one of those RR cheers, but we were feeling to mellow. Watch out for tomorrow night, though. Have one of those fancy evenings planned, so look out! Hee, hee, hee...

Later Dude.
