"You think Bush is lying, we know Clinton lied." I think the lying by Clinton was worse in the sense that it was so incredibly childish -- although whether or not he got a blow-job from an intern is not exactly of earth-shaking importance. It is just so demeaning of his position and an indication of extremely poor judgement and values. I think the democrats should be publicly stripped and flogged for their spineless handling of this issue and many others. I also think that Bush Sr. did an outstanding job of building a coalition in 90-91 and I applaud him for that.

This should not be about partisan politics -- the issues here are serious. They are about the shape of the world we live in. They are about invading other countries and killing people. They are about overthrowing foreign governments and killing their leaders. They are about the viability of international institutions and international law. They are about "nation building". They are about peace and security, and the uses and limits of military force to achieve these purposes.
