why not now while you live just learn to respect and honor all women like they were your mother ? that would be a life changing event for you , and you wouldn't have to wait for that billowy scene up in the clouds after a dull & lifeless eternity in limbo. As for the sacrifice of the lamb ...well it was good they graduated finally from sacrificing 100's of thousands of goats and sheep , but after a few 1000yrs your God's chosen ones found it was a little too late to change from such incredible superstition and wives tales which comprise 9/10ths of the Bible. Not so funny this all-powerful diety who devestates so many of these chosen ones enemies with pestilence, plagues and disease...only a few short centuries later almost wipes them off the face of the earth. And you believe in this fellow? That is not a "Supreme Being" , but a projection of an ancient superstitous patriarchal tribe's manipulated history and self dellusions in the midst of endless warring. What fairytales and dellusions of endless martyrdom that misses the entire point of the exercise. The history of Christianity is far from righteous , shrouded in confusion , grinding and plodding interpretations , rote recitals, conspiracy, and dependent mainly on self-fullfilling prophesy rather than direct experience . A God who's behavior is initself almost entirely deplorable & inexcusable rather than ever compassionate or ever righteous. The ones that were possibly righteous were usually crucified which kind of makes one glad for the eventual secularization and the power over peoples luves taken out of the hands of zealouts , quacks and pretenders. But the Universe is vast ...vast enough to hold even such wild flights of fancies as your own. It's much like the imprinting of a little chick on whatever it sees first as it's mother . For you it was these " scriptures" and images so that you are blind to all other experiences that comprise the true vast scope and reality of human experience, history in this world , that differs from your own and many others psychological security blankets , and self-absorbed diety worship and it's omnipresnt and dominating religious idolatry. And being "saved" has nothing to do with scripture at all, or pretending you know there is a "God" up there ...but you cannot see this being far too indoctrinated and self-hynotised from all the years . Surely you can find better motivation for all you acts of good deeds and compassion than all that ancient weak body of superstitions and fables ? The promise of eternal life ? Go plant a tree Chris Land , or come back tomorrow a testify before all that you have seen the face of God , or that second coming that is 2000 yrs overdue...or maybe you might have been visited by any angels lately ? They are real you know , they are just hiding from you ! ;-)
