Learn to read. I pointed out that the two things were not the same in the first paragraph. (For example, we were not engaged in conquest in Panama, but restored the last legitimate president). In the second paragraph, I pointed out as a generalization that superficial similarity did not matter, what mattered was historical context and the particular reasons for military action. In making the slavery analogy, I merely pointed out that even if we had been guilty at sometime, it did not automatically mean that we could not now exercise moral judgment. Finally, I made the point that the government had a responsibility to ensure our security, and that that was the issue driving the current matter......
