Not to mention "moral clarity". Perle and Co. got a big picture in mind, all right. Who knows, maybe their latter day Lawrence schemes will actually work, too. Hey, it could happen. Then there's the hatred thing. I guess part of the whole "moral clarity" posture is that the kind of hatred directed at the entire muslim/arab world around here is morally superior to the kind that goes in the other direction. I find those particular formulations a little dubious, but it's hard to run a war propaganda operation without them.
