If CH had been conciliatory, instead of exacerbating the problem, and up to the point where the person emphatically told him to stop, sure, he would have been right. However, he was not truly conciliatory, but was overly aggressive about getting her to see things his way. Plus, he did not desist after it was clear that she was climbing the wall over it.

One is allowed to be persistent without being harassing, which is partially gauged by the person's response,but reasonably entails not making it a daily, or even weekly, thing.

If your address and e-mail address are published, for example, in a normal telephone book, than it is fair to use them, as long as you do not intend to attack or harass......
