Mary, as you know, these things never come close to trial even when there is clear jurisdiction. So I don't think they took that in consideration when filing in Canada. More likely they filed there out of convenience since that's where they are based and that's where their lawyers are licensed to practice. In other words, it's all meant to be a lot of sound and fury... while signifying nothing.
