You can say that again scott....and what ir ironic is it very well could be the relentlessness of the shorts that drive the market upward...just like the bulls that never thought it could get this bad, they bought all the way down....shorts are more relentless then bulls.....they will cover, but short again at every resistance level on the way up...they will think "no way this market keeps going up...doomsday is near " <ggg>...and they will be relentless thinking every pop is due for a pullback......eventually, that wont happen and the shorts will keep shorting after nice % gains.....if they continue to do this, it will eventually lead to one massive upswing when the majority of the shorts finally give up....could be this year or 5 years, but eventually the market will stop going down and will start back up, IMO, and as I said, the shorts will be relentless until they finally realize the bear is gone.....could be awhile, could be any minute, but I do think 10 years from now we are alot closer to 15 or 20 on dow, 3000-5000 naz, then we will be to zero......but I could be wrong and we could be in for 20 years of hell the japanese have been thru......nobody knows in this market......have a great weekend.....
