Carranza, the PBCCH issue was suppoused to be a major problem for Nokia in August/September 2001. I got my Nokia 8310 GPRS phone in the first week of October 2001 and I`m still using it, no problems with GPRS or anything else. And besides, I still have the original September 2001 software in the phone, no need to upgrade it.

So, if that major GPRS problem (if there ever was a real problem, this kind of things tend to happen with new standards always) was solved by Nokia in a couple of weeks, do you still think that the possible EDGE problems reported by CommsDesign more than half a year ago are still relevant? I don´t mean that there wouldn´t be any problems with EDGE at all, but should we really that worried about that CommsDesign article?!
