bush has said that we need to be vigilant wrt identifying rogue nations with weapons of mass destruction...surely n. korea qualifies.

he called them part of the axis of evil...

the nuclear capability is not news. the only real news is that they have not complied with the agreements to dismantle their nuclear arsenal in exchange for aid....

i don't think the current admin will trade $$$$ for promises of disarmament in n. korea, but i also don't think that n. korea poses the danger even with their weapons than does iraq. i don't doubt there may be n. koreans advising the iragis toward the development of nuclear capacity, but iraq though their designated hench men in the war against israel and the us display a much greater motivation to USE them.

iraq must be disarmed first.

pick your battles, as they say.
