We expect the fed funds rate to end the year at 1.25% versus its current level of 1.75%. This 50 basis point decline in the fed funds rate could come in one fell swoop on or before the next FOMC meeting (November 6) or piecemeal - a 25 basis point cut at the November 6 meeting and another 25 basis point cut at the December 10 meeting.

Europe up nicely. Fed now threatening to ease. This rally still has some legs.

Had an order in wednesday to buy LU at .67. Must have missed getting it by a penny or so. <ng>
