Searle, there was an interesting development with regards to the Wellstone campaign. The Wellstone family has asked former Senator Walter Mondale to come in and take his place on the ballot. The race has now gone from a toss-up to a likely win for the Democratic ticket. Actually, given the usual sympathy vote that happens in these circumstance, the death of Wellstone itself probably cinched the seat for the Democratic Party. Makes a guy wonder who else may have tampered with the plane.
