Taht's a good one Les, I've noticed the VIX and VIXN hasn't been as reliable
as in the past. This implied vs actual volatility seems to confirm what
I was thinking. The the Vix is just a measure of put/call ratio and taht
don't tell all of the story , it can remain high in spite of low implied
volatility, I notice on the QQQ call/put that even with a high ( bearish )
VIXN; the option prices indicated a underlying bullish attitude.
However I didn't have a good way to check out or confirm what
I seemed to see.
Thanx
Jim
