Gary >the internet has become bad governments biggest enemy.

And, it's ironic that it was developed in the US which is, today, the biggest rogue state.

Nevertheless, to use the internet to find the truth still requires considerable filtering and discrimination because there's so much crap (like this?). In fact, one can find whatever one wishes to (within reason, of course).

>We can't depend on the media, they are giving us as much BS as the government.

They are, in fact, the government --- the propaganda arm.

>I would hope that some people are beginning to see the truth and there are many truths that have come to light lately.

In my opinion, the real battle is not in the Mid East or wherever but for the hearts and minds of the American people. The clique which controls the US controls the world. Right now it's the Oil Boys and the Amen Corner.

>Will they see that the biggest enemy is the enemy within? I hope so.

That depends on how much terrorism, propaganda and brainwashing the clique is able to bring to bear on the American people, and everyone else, for that matter. There is a delicate balance --- if they go too far the people will see through their devious schemes --- and, if they don't go far enough, the people will lull back into their usual complacency and dreams of liberty and freedom. What is required is that the people must be insecure, obedient, frightened and angry and the anger must be directed towards a particular "enemy".

>>>It's not the first time authorities have tried to pin the blame on an ephemeral scapegoat without disclosing the evidence. For example, on September 26, The Washington Post quoted President Bush in one of his attempts to link Saddam Hussein with Al Qaeda. "They're both risks. They're both dangerous," said Bush idiotically. "The war on terror, you can't distinguish between al Qaeda and Saddam when you talk about the war on terror. They're both equally as bad, and equally as evil, and equally as destructive." The White House spokesman explained, "In the shadowy world of terrorism, sometimes there is no precise way to have definitive information until it is too late."

There's a downside to leaving the public in a permanent state of terror. The more the media whips up the fear factor, the more Americans are likely to support extreme measures by the government.<<<

Surely that's the whole idea.
