Forcing patterns into play probably isn't a very good idea....and a bad habit to get into Sometimes they just aren't there imo. i don't buy into this latest genre of technical analysis that seems to assign trendline origination and pivot points to the middle of moves, and counts reversal points that don't even come close to touching trendlines... it has everything to do with risk reward setups. to each their own tho
