KCFOS,

Let's just remind ourselves of how we got to where we are in this debate. It is my view that there is in Canadian politics and in the Canadian media a - as Robert Fulford noted in an article in September 2001 - thoughtless and pervasive anti-American sentiment. It is also my view that these political and journalistic views reflect the sentiment of the Canadian population in general.

That is what you and I are debating.

Indeed, and try a little harder to present your own views and reasons for those views, not necessarily that of your cut and pastes.

Although I thank you for welcoming my own personal views and reasons I think it is important for me to demonstrate first to our American friends on this thread that my comments about anti-American sentiment in Canada are well-funded. I think I have - at the very least - demonstrated that there is - potentially - such a sentiment. What I think is what I think: it won't help anyone establish the truth. I say it exist, you say it doesn't.

If it doesn't exist how do you explain our Prime Minister saying that the US are partly to blame for 9/11 because they are so rich and arrogant. Was that only the personal views of an old man gone senile or that of the Prime Minister (and Only Ruler) of Canada?

Looking forward to your comments.
