<<It wasn't the Howard Stern Show, but Giants rookie Jeremy Shockey was again making radio waves Friday.
According to a report in Newsday, the tight end implied during his weekly appearance on WFAN-New York radio that the Philadelphia Eagles' secondary is overrated and the unit has benefited from pressure generated from the front seven.
"I believe they get lucky a lot," he said. Later, he added, "They get beat a lot deep."
The Eagles have given up just two passing plays that have exceeded 32 yards this season, and in their four victories, they have allowed no passes over 30 yards. Shockey's longest reception is 28 yards.
The Eagles (4-2) lead the NFC East race as the second-place Giants (3-3) travel to Philly for a prime-time Monday Night Football matchup (ABC, 9 p.m. ET).>> LOL! this trash talker has the wit of a "dork". Talk about saying the absolutely worst thing.

Mike we must rule come Monday. Absolutely no excuses, period.
I wrote before the last game 1-1 in the next 2 games is unacceptable.
I am hoping Reid's HUMBLE routine is for the public because behind closed doors it is time Reid tells them they are at super bowl level in personnel now, so play like champions every game and you will get there.
Demand the best from yourself every game.
If we turn up without fire and dominance on Wednesday i will quit on this team. And point the finger right at Reid for being incapable of getting a team fired to play every week.
If Vermeil had this team, they don't lose another game.
This is where we get down to the nitty gritty.
We could have had a superbowl when we had Reggies gang but Ryan did not have a clue regards offense, he just told Cunningham "make a few miracle plays a game and ignore the fact you have no offensive line , you see Me, Buddy is so great a defensive coach i do not need an offense--except you Randall doing 5 great plays a game with NO offensive line" Thus a great great defensive team never got a ring.
Max

Mike, Rashard Cook now out for year. I had wondered was it wise to try play so soon from a menicus injury--of which you know far far more than me. Max <<Nov. 1: Cook has been placed on injured reserve by the Philadelphia Eagles. The safety, who has missed three of the last four games with a knee injury, will not return this season. He will be replaced by Julian Jones.>> How demanding of the Eagles am i for this Sunday?:) All i demand is i will be satisfied if Donovan is sitting healthy and happy on the bench in the 4th quarter and watching either Feely or Detmer finish the game.
