Dak, I agree with some of what you say, but I get the impression that you are a Catholic and my experience of such discussions is that it goes slippery round and round and never can get anywhere. So, okay, Mr Poor Sad Scar on the Heart IRA, blow up some more children because you are really angry over what happened or didn't happen in the potato famine, 300 and 1000 and maybe 5000 years ago.

We [well, me - DAK can comment, having special insight unlike the peanut gallery] don't experience the child's pain and fear ourselves, so are not in a position to comment and its life must be extinguished so Gerry Adams can be King Kong Alpha Male and rule the roost, have lots of money, power and girls, and have lots of children to replace those infidel types he's just blown up.

I feel the poor guy's pain.

Welcome to chimpoidland.

PS: When I've finished scrutinizing the suffering of poor Gerry Adams, I'll examine the suffering of poor Osama to see why he was so angry that he wanted to revel in the gore, terror and suffering of hordes of people. I bet Osama's suffering was especially awful - poor guy.

I wonder why so few women suffer so much that they need to blow up children and conduct mass murder. They nearly always seem to need a Big Tough Male Leader [such as the women in the Moscow Moslem Head-Hackers mayhem of a day or two ago - who sat around waiting to blow themselves up on instruction of the boss man]. It seems to be the Gerry Adams, Osama, Tim McVeigh, Washington's sniper, Adolf, Saddam and Mao types who experience such suffering that they feel the need to avenge the wrongs of hundreds of years ago - the outcome always seems to be that they end up with the money, power, girls and enjoyment of the suffering of others. Maybe you are right.

Ted Kaczynski got ahead of the game [he avenged the suffering of people to come by taking it out on those building what he figured would spoil the happy way of life he advocated].
