Temple got after them. I was there and it was not pretty. Rod Rutherford can let the ball rip and he will tuck it in and run. I don't know how many he had against BC but I would venture to say over 200. They are going to stop the running game if they have to put 9 in the box. Temple tried that and VT started spreading out the receivers. 3 and 4 spread on almost every play...I know that teams like Temple can play ball but I thought that the cleats on our shoes were not long enough. You didn't see the Temple guys falling down every time they made a cut but our guys couldn't stand up...
