I was about 90 miles north of London, on a lake right in the middle of England. Still just warm enough so your hands and feet aren't in pain. Arms are a bit longer tho. The valuation calculations I made for the NDX 100 stocks included forward valuations based on analyst pro forma estimates. I assume those estimates did not assume write offs that could not be supported by book value. The other point to mention is that stocks such as JDSU and LU are such a small weighting in the NDX 100 so as to make an immaterial difference to any valuation of the index as a whole.
