Standards is another of those things that sounds good, but in reality isn't. Wn has this exam that students have to pass to graduate from high school. It's supposed to test what you need to know to be successful in the world. BUT, the legislators who try to take the test can't all pass it. So, how necessary is that knowledge, really, to success? Or do we consider legislators failures? Should we withdraw their high school diplomas. All very stupid, IMO.
