Cannot think of one bellicose dictatorship which changed its culture or way of thinking until it was either conquered or destroyed. In the case of Iraq, we (sort've) tried economics. Embargos never cut it. This leaves one option - war and subsequent occupation until a new leadership is firmed up. The war portion will be easier than some expect. The difficulty will be any occupation until a stability is attained. JOMHO
