Thanks for the clarification Mark. The adjustable virtual viewing box makes tracking unnecessary.

The original posting regarding BMW suggested that entertainment was not going to be available for the front seat passenger. Presumably that will come next. I can see why there should be prohibition of visual entertainment for the driver, but what about a HUD display of instruments? Also climate, audio controls, etc when they are being adjusted? Are there any plans for these?

Well, I think I get it now. It actually isn't quite like the autoscope, a stereo imager which required L and R channels and the concomitant precise eye-tracking, but a single multi-faceted source can illuminate several adjustable reflectors at once, and the required angle, I guess(?), is not that sensitive. I will be waiting to see it work.
